Legend has it that James D'Ampton's distant ancestor once slayed the local dragon; a monstrous white worm with a fondness for the sweet flesh of virgins. Dublin-born Bram Stoker lived in London, meeting other notable authors such as Arthur Conan Doyle and Oscar Wilde.
