Publication History

American Journal of Archaeology began in 1885 as The American Journal of Archaeology and of the History of the Fine Arts. In 1897, it started a new series and officially dropped the "History of the Fine Arts" portion of the name. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It is still published today.
