American Journal of Archaeology is a peer-reviewed archaeological journal of the Archaeological Institute of America.
American Journal of Archaeology began in 1885 as The American Journal of Archaeology and of the History of the Fine Arts. In 1897, it started a new series and officially dropped the "History of the Fine Arts" portion of the name. No issue copyright renewals were made for this journal. It is still published today.
