The American Magazine of Art was an American art magazine published in the early 20th century by the American Federation of Arts.
The American Magazine of Art began publishing in 1909 as "Art in Progress". In 1916, the magazine changed its name to the American Magazine of Art. (Issues published under the older Art and Progress name are also listed separately.) The magazine's name shortened to "Magazine of Art" in 1937. It ceased publication in 1953. No issue copyright renewals exist for this magazine, though some individual items in it have renewed copyrights.
