The Architectural Forum

The Architectural Forum was the final name of an American magazine on architecture and building. It sometimes carried the subtitle "The Magazine of Building". (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

The Architectural Forum began publishing under that title in 1917, succeeding The Brickbuilder and continuing its issue numbering. The first copyright-renewed issue is April 1932 (v. 56 no. 4). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from November 1932. (More details) It ceased publication in 1974.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1917-1928: HathiTrust has volumes 26-44, part of volume 45, and volumes 46 and 48-49 freely readable online. Some later volumes are searchable but not readable online at this site.
• 1917-1974: US Modernist has selected issues and supplements from 1917 until the end of the magazine's run, along with issues of its predecessor.
