Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research is a periodical of Middle Eastern research published by the American Schools of Oriental Research (now based at Boston University).

Publication History

Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research began as The Bulletin of the American School of Oriental Research in Jerusalem; its first volume was published in 1919. The Bulletin took on its current name in 1921. No issue copyright renewals exist for this annual. It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1919-1926: HathiTrust has numbers 1-24. Access may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1919-1921: JSTOR has numbers 1-3 under the Jerusalem name.
• 1921-1922: JSTOR has numbers 4-8 freely readable. (Later issues on the JSTOR site are restricted access.)
