Bulletin of the American Association of University Professors

Bulletin of the American Association of University Professors is an official organ of the American Association of University Professors.

Publication History

Bulletin of the American Association of University Professors first appeared in 1915. It was retitled "AAUP Bulletin" in 1956. No issue copyright renewals exist for this serial. Over time, the official reports and policy documents that dominated the early issues were accompanied by increasing numbers of magazine-style articles and commentary. Partly reflecting this focus, the periodical was retitled "Academe" in 1979. In 2010, however, the Bulletin name was revived as a separate annual publication of the AAUP's official reports and policy documents, separate from Academe magazine proper.
