Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages of America

Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages of America was a series of volumes containing "genealogical studies... upon notable early American lines and their collateral connections", published by the American Historical Company. There appears to be no overall organization or ordering of the studies in the volumes, and volume numbers were not always printed inside the volumes, making volume identification a challenge. Below we will note the copyright year and the first family line featured in each volume we list, as well as the volume sequence number.

Publication History

The first volume of Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages of America was published in 1939. The last volume, the 25th to be issued, was published in 1968. No copyright renewals were filed on the volumes, but copyrights to volumes published after 1963 would have renewed automatically.
