The English Review

The English Review was a magazine of literature, criticism, and political commentary published in London in the early 20th century.

Publication History

The Magazine was founded by Ford Madox Hueffer (later Ford) in 1908. He edited the first 15 issues. Austin Harrison took over as editor in 1910, and other editors took over from 1923 onward. The magazine ran until 1937, when it was absorbed by the National Review.
