Journal of the Annual Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic, Department of Kansas

Journal of the Annual Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic, Department of Kansas was a record of the annual reunion of Kansas soldiers who fought for the United States during the American civil war. The title varied somewhat from year to year.

Publication History

The first annual encampment was held in the 1880s, though we do not know which reunion was first to publish a journal. Journals continued to be published at least until 1944, with journals for later years including "allied orders". The encampment numbering was adjusted from 48 in 1929 to 50 in 1930. No active issue copyright renewals were found for this serial.
