The 19th century incarnation of Golf began in 1897. It was the official bulletin of the USGA from 1898 until 1909. Afterward, the magazine continued until 1917. The current Time, Inc., incarnation of Golf began in 1959, and is still published today. No issue copyright renewals were filed for that magazine.
