Infantry Journal began in 1904 as the Journal of the United States Infantry Association. Its name changed to Infantry Journal (continuing the earlier journal's volume numbering) in 1910. The first copyright-renewed issue is January 1923 (v. 22 no. 1). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from January-February 1939. (More details) It ran until 1950.
