Publication History

The Journal of Philosophy began publication in 1904 as the Journal of Philosophy, Psychology, and Scientific Methods. It changed its name to the Journal of Philosophy in 1921. No issue copyright renewals have been found for this journal. It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1904-1911, 1913-1920: HathiTrust has volumes 1-8 and 10-17, published as the Journal of Philosophy, Psychology, and Scientific Methods.
• 1912: The Internet Archive has volume 9, the one volume missing from the early run above.
• 1921-1922: HathiTrust has volumes 18 and 19, published as the Journal of Philosophy, freely readable online. At present, later volumes are only available to search, not to read.
