The Knickerbocker was a "New-York Monthly Magazine" of literature published in the 19th century.

Publication History

The Knickerbocker began publishing in 1833, and ran until October 1865. The last couple of years saw some changes of name to "The American Monthly Knickerbocker" (March 1864), "The American Monthly" (January 1865) and "The Foederal American Monthly" (July 1865).
