The Littlefield Letters

The Littlefield Letters was the official newsletter of the Austin, Texas chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, known as the Major George W. Littlefield Camp 59.

Publication History

According to the newsletter, the Austin chapter was founded in 1898, but eventually lapsed into inactivity. A revived chapter was rechartered under the Littlefield name in 1977. The first issue of this newsletter appeared in 1979. It is not clear how long it continued to be published, but I cannot find mention of it on the organization's website at present.
