The London Gazette is an official newspaper of record for the United Kingdom, published by H. M. Stationery Office It contains legal and government notices, including notices of military honors and awards.
The London Gazette began publishing in 1665 as the Oxford Gazette, and moved to London the following year. It is still published today.
