McClure's Magazine was an illustrated American magazine that published literature and journalism in the 19th and early 20th centuries. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
McClure's Magazine published its first issue in June 1893. Publication was interrupted multiple times in the 1920s. A new series began in 1925, but volume numbering reverted about a year later. The last issue was published in 1929. The magazine was then absorbed into The Smart Set. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1929 (v. 62 no. 2). (More details)
