Minutes of the Session of the North Carolina Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South

Minutes of the Session of the North Carolina Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South was the official annual record of the North Carolina Conference affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The title varied somewhat over time. (Later volumes are labeled "Journal" rather than "Minutes", for instance.)

Publication History

The Methodist Episcopal Church, South split off from the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1844. It reunited with the MEC and other churches in 1939 to form the Methodist Church (U.S.) The North Carolina Conference went with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, and met annually throughout this time period, with the western part of the state spinning off into its own conference in 1890. Dates below correspond with the years of the conference, not the years of the publication (which may be later in some cases).
