Metropolitan Magazine was a magazine of literature, politics, the New York theater and social scene, and other general interests, published in New York in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Metropolitan Magazine began in 1895. In some later years, it was known simply as "The Metropolitan". No issue copyright renewals were filed, but some contributions from at least as far back as 1922 had their copyrights renewed. The magazine was renamed "MacFadden Fiction-Lovers Magazine" in 1924, which published its last issue in 1925.
