Metropolitan Magazine was a magazine of literature, politics, the New York theater and social scene, and other general interests, published in New York in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Publication History

Metropolitan Magazine began in 1895. In some later years, it was known simply as "The Metropolitan". No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from February-March 1923 (v. 56 no. 6). (More details) The magazine was renamed "MacFadden Fiction-Lovers Magazine" in 1924, which published its last issue in 1925.
