The New Time

The New Time was a social reform monthly magazine, edited by B. O. Flower and Frederick Upham Adams, published in Chicago and Boston in the late 19th century.

Publication History

The New Time began in 1897, as a successor to New Occasions (listed separately). Its first issue, dated July 1897, is titled "New Occasions and The New Time" on the cover. It appears to have run until the end of 1898, when it was absorbed by Flower's other publication, The Arena. Issues late in the run list only Adams as editor.
