Proceedings of the New York State Historical Association was a publication describing the activities of the New York State Historical Association in the early 20th century.
Proceedings of the New York State Historical Association began as an account of the Association's annual meetings, constitutions, by-laws, and membership. The first of these appears to have been published in 1901, and covered the second annual meeting. The Proceedings title appeared in the 1902 annual volume, and volume numbers started to appear in the 1907 volume (volume 7). The Proceedings included a "quarterly journal" beginning in 1919, and the Quarterly Journal eventually completely supplanted the Proceedings. That journal later become New York History, which is still published today.
