The Pedagogical Seminary is the original name of a journal of education and child development, published in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Publication History

The Pedagogical Seminary began in 1891. In 1924 it was renamed "Pedagogical Seminary and Journal of Genetic Psychology", reflecting a change in focus. The earliest active issue copyright renewal is for 1937. In 1954 the journal's name shifted to simply "The Journal of Genetic Psychology", the name under which the journal now publishes.
