Putnam's Magazine was a monthly magazine of American literature, science, art, and national affairs, published by G. P. Putman's Sons.

Publication History

Putnam's Magazine first appeared in 1853, and ran to 1857 in its first incarnation. A second incarnation ran from 1868-1870. A third incarnation (a continuation of the "Critic" known initially as "Putnam's Monthly and the Critic") ran from 1906-1910. It absorbed "The Reader" in 1908.
