The Scientific Monthly was a 20th century American science magazine founded, and initially edited, by James McKeen Cattell.

Publication History

The Scientific Monthly was founded in 1915 by Cattell after he sold The Popular Science Monthly. No issue copyright renewals were filed for this magazine, but some contributions from June 1947 onward had their copyrights renewed. The Scientific Monthly ran until 1957, after which it was absorbed by Science.
