Sketches of the Acts and Joint Resolutions of the General Assembly of Virginia was a periodical summary and explanation of the acts passed by Virginia's state legislature that ran for a time in the mid-19th century. It may have been published by the Quarterly Law Journal of Richmond.
The Virginia General Assembly passed a resolution in 1846 that sketches of the General Assembly's Acts be published. The earliest Sketches volume known to me covered the 1852 session. The latest I know of covered the 1863-1864 session.
