The Smart Set, "a magazine of cleverness", was an American magazine of literature and culture that appeared in the early 20th century.
The Smart Set published its first issue in March 1900. It absorbed The New McClure's magazine in the late 1920s. Its last issue (which, like a few before it, was published under the the title "The New Smart Set") was dated July 1930.
