The Library is a journal on bibliography and library science, published by Oxford University Press for the Bibliographic Society of the UK.

Publication History

The Library began publication in 1889. New series were begun in 1900, 1910, 1920, 1946. and 1979. It does not appear to have renewed issue copyrights prior to 1964. It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1889-1921: HathiTrust has most of the volumes through 1922. It is currently missing volume 9 of the second series (1908); see below for another source for that volume.
• 1908: The Internet Archive has volume 9 of the second series.
