Contributions from the United States National Herbarium

Contributions from the United States National Herbarium is a peer-reviewed botany journal published irregularly by the Smithsonian Institution's Department of Botany, for disseminating the work of U.S. National Herbarium researchers.

Publication History

Contributions from the United States National Herbarium began in 1890. Volumes in the early years were printed in parts, somewhat staggered. (The first number of volume 2, for instance, appeared before the last number of volume 1.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. The serial was suspended after 1974 and revived in 2000. The last installment was published in 2011; it is unclear whether or when more will be published.
