The Western Socialist was a North American socialist periodical published in the 20th century, with a mission of being "the journal of scientific socialism in the western hemisphere". For a time, it was the official organ of both the Socialist Party of Canada and the Workers (later World) Socialist Party of the US.

Publication History

The Western Socialist began publishing in Canada in 1933, moving to Boston in 1939. No issue copyright renewals exist for this serial, and the online issues listed here also appear to have no copyright notice. Publication was irregular, but approximately at the rate of 6 issues per year. It appears to have ceased publication around 1980.
