presents serial archive listings for

Weekly World News

Weekly World News is an illustrated American publication of weird and curious stories. While presented as news, the stories do not necessarily reflect reality. Written for mass consumption, the stories often track topics of interest in contemporary American folklore.

Publication History

Weekly World News began publication in 1979 as a print-based tabloid newspaper sold in supermarkets. The standalone print version ceased publication in 2007. The publication currently exists as a web site, and as an insert to other publications, and is more explicitly tongue-in-cheek than the publication was earlier in its history.
