      "Deutsche Kunst und Denkmalpflege was the title used for two intervals of a long-running preservation publication.  The first interval was 1934-1944, the second was from 1952 to 1993.  'Die Denkmalpflege' was used in intervals both before and after these intervals.  Other titles were used as well at various points."
