Summary
For almost one thousand years, Delphi ruled as the religious heart of the ancient Greek empire. All kinds of people from kings to commoners went there to consult the famous oracle of Delphi. For a price, the oracle would consult with the Greek god Apollo, then answer the question, although the answer would sometimes be open to interpretation.
