Convergencia mediática: nuevos escenarios, nuevas perspectivas.
2023

Emergent Literacy and Early Writing Skills.
Journal of Genetic Psychology. Jul-Sep2012, Vol. 173 Issue 3, p330-354. 25p. 3 Illustrations, 10 Charts.
In the present study, the authors aimed to assess the short- and long-term predictive power of the various components of an emergent literacy model on early writing abilities in a language with a mainly transparent orthography (Italian). Emergent literacy skills were assessed in 72 children (M age = 5.05 years, SD = ± .03) who were followed longitudinally from preschool to the end of the first grade of primary school. Their early writing abilities (orthographic correctness in writing individual words) and their advanced writing abilities (orthographic correctness in text writing) were tested at the beginning and at the end of the school year. Multiple stepwise and logistic regression analyses were conducted to evaluate the predictive capacities of emergent literacy abilities on early and advanced writing competences. Results show that notational competence is a strong predictor of early writing skills and that phonological competence only has an effect insofar as it is integrated with notational competence. Emergent literacy competences do not significantly predict orthographic errors in advanced text writing. This research allows for reconsideration of the importance of phonological awareness and gives a central role to notational competence in predicting early writing competence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Applicazione Interattiva di Realtà Aumentata per i Beni Culturali
SCIRES-IT, Vol 2, Iss 1, Pp 121-132 (2012)
EnVirtual reality applications to cultural heritage are part of a general trend towards reproducibility and interaction mediated by the computer systems.MediaEvo Project proposes a multi-channel and multi-sensory platform for the edutainment in Cultural Heritage and, for that purpose, was made a virtual model of the town of Otranto in the Middle Ages. The aim of the project is the realization of a digital didactic videogame oriented towards the knowledge of medieval history and society by means of the integration of human sciences and new data processing technologies.During the project it has been also realized a marker-based Augmented Reality application that allows user, through a specific user interface, to visualize the 3D models of the town or some of its major monuments in different ages and to interact with these models in order to display textual and visual information that describe the observed monument.

Identity And Access Management e Federazione
SCIRES-IT, Vol 2, Iss 1, Pp 43-58 (2012)
EnThe Internet is constantly growing, therefore on-line services, are becoming part of our daily life in a more and more pervasive manner. The network services are divided into two types of access: free access and controlled access. Every day students, researchers and teachers access content and services (resources) through controlled access using different modes, e.g using user / password information which is different for each resource. From this perspective, the large availability of networked resources generates many problems for the users, last but not least the inconvenience of storing an increasing number of user / password. The article aims to illustrate, in detail, the context and the problems related to the management of a digital identiy in the first part, then it moves on to describe the technologies offering a possible solution, such as the Identity Management, the Single Sing On and the federations of authentication and authorization infrastructure and of some interesting initiatives, among which there is IDEM, the first Italian federation of Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure, which involves the scientific community / academic institutions and service providers.

Revista de EGA. 2007, Issue 12, p236-239. 4p.
The article focuses on the Academy of San Luca. The academy, situated in Rome, Italy, is a school for painting, sculpture and architecture. Before the establishment of the academy, associations or brotherhoods of painters and sculptors existed in Rome, whose only client is the Church. Their works were initially the products of collaborations between teachers and students and not expressions of individual personality.
