The eleventh edition of the Encylopaedia Britannica was published in 29 volumes in 1910 and 1911. They were published in Britain by Cambridge University and in America by the Encyclopaedia Britannica Company. (Except where noted by '(EBC)', the Internet Archive and HathiTrust page scans linked below are from the Cambridge University Press imprint. The Gutenberg transcriptions may be from either imprint.) Some of the HathiTrust scans listed below may be only accessible in the United States; see this set to find more HathiTrust scans of volumes from the 11th edition, some of which might be accessible outside the US.
The Internet Archive also has a set of DJVU files for this edition, which are said to include high-quality images but require special software to view. Wikisource also has a transcription that has been partially checked but not fully proofread or formatted as of early 2026.
This is a "meta-book", which stitches together separate files elsewhere on the Web as they appeared in a previously published book. It is subject to removal if someone produces an integrated edition. If that happens, The Online Books Page will point to the integrated version.
