I Diarii di Marino Sanuto

by Marino Sanudo

This is an Italian-language diary kept by Marino Sanudo (or Sanuto) in Venice in the late 15th and early 16th century. It was published in 58 volumes between 1879 and 1903, and has been reprinted since then, It is consulted today as a source for Venetian and European history.

The links below go to scans of the volumes as made by Google and served by Google and others, with a note of the diary dates covered by each volume. Google and HathiTrust volumes of this diary might not be accessible outside the US; Internet Archive volumes generally are. Some of the scans are of reprint volumes.

This is a "meta-book", which stitches together separate files elsewhere on the Web as they appeared in a previously published book. It is subject to removal if someone produces an integrated edition. If that happens, The Online Books Page will point to the integrated version.
