Publication History

The journal began publication in 1817. Its first series, consisting of 8 volumes, ended in 1842. A second series began in 1847, and ceased publication in 1918 after 16 volumes.

• 1817-1918: The Biodiversity Heritage Library has all volumes from both series.
• 1817-1858, 1874-1918: HathiTrust also has all of the first series, and volumes 1-3 and 8-16 of the second series, scanned from various libraries. Volumes may be presented out of order.
• 1817-1824, 1825-1842, 1858-1895, 1897-1901: HathiTrust also has volumes 1-3 and 5-8 of the first series, and volumes 4-9 and 11 of the second series, scanned from Princeton University.
