Publication History

American Economic Association Quarterly was a continuation of the Publications of the American Economic Association, which split in 1908 into this journal and The Economic Bulletin. This journal continued the volume and series numbering of its predecessor. Hence, its volume numbering starts at 9.) In 1911, this serial and the Economic Bulletin merged to form The Economic Review.
