Publication History

The Aegis and Intelligencer traces its roots back to the Southern Aegis, founded in 1857. From 1862 to 1864 it was called the Southern Aegis, and Harford County Intelligencer. It became The Aegis and Intelligencer in 1864, All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. It ran under that title until 1923, when it was renamed The Aegis.
