Annuaire de l'Observatoire Royal de Belgique (Dutch title: Jaarboek van de Koninklijke Sterrenwacht van Belgie) is an annual publication of the Royal Observatory of Belgium. It is currently pulished in French and Dutch. Its title has varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The Royal Observatory was established in 1826, and published its first Annuaire in 1834. Its title varied somewhat in early years, but settled into Annuaire de l'Observatoire Royal de Belgique by 1892. In 1901 it split into Annuaire Astronomique de l'Observatoire Royal de Belgique and Annuaire Météorologique, but the two series merged again into Annuaire de l'Observatoire Royal de Belgique in 1914. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1836-1837, 1845, 1849-1891: HathiTrust has volumes 3-4, 12, and 16-58 of the early Annuaires.
• 1892-1900: HathiTrust also has volumes 59-67, prior to the journal's split into astronomical and meteorological series. Access to volumes after 1898 may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1901-1913: HathiTrust also has the 1901-1913 volumes of Annuaire Astronomique de l'Observatoire Royal de Belgique. Access may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1901-1906, 1909-1911: HathiTrust also has most volumes of the Annuaire Météorologique. Access may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1914-1927: HathiTrust also has volumes of the merged Annuaire from 1914 to 1927, as well as some earlier volumes. Access may be restricted outside the United States. Some later volumes may be searchable but not readable online here.
• 2005-present: The Observoire Royal de Belgique has Annuaires from 2005 onward free to read online.
