Annual Report of the Register of Copyrights

Annual Report of the Register of Copyrights is the usual title of the annual report of the US Copyright Office, a department of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. The exact title has varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The first standalone annual report from the Copyright Office was for 1911. (In previous years, reports on Copyright Office activities were included as part of the annual report of the Librarian of Congress.) Their official title began with "Annual Report of the Register of Copyrights" beginning with the 1929 report. The most recent report we know of was titled United States Copyright Office Annual Report.
