Archaeologia is the first journal of the Society of Antiquaries of London, publishing "miscellaneous tracts related to antiquity".
Publication History
The first volume of Archaeologia was published in 1770, with a second edition published in 1779. A second series began in 1888; for a while therafter volumes had both an overall number and a number within the series. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Volume 110 was published in 1992, and a 300th anniversary volume was published as volume 111 in 2007. In 2023 the series was revived as an open access online publication, starting with volume 112.
