Publication History

Archivalische Zeitschrift began in 1876. The initial series ran 13 volumes. A second series (20 volumes) began in 1890, and a third (12 volumes with series-based numbering) in 1915. Volume numbering from 1876 began in the 1925 volume, and became standard in the 1950 volume. There were some hiatuses in publication, including a 10-year gap between the first two volumes of the third series. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
