Archives of Ophthalmology is the original name of a long-running ophthalmology journal now published by the American Medical Association.

A new series began from volume 1 in 1929 when it affiliated with the AMA. It was known as AMA Archives of Opthalmology in the 1950s. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is March 1960 (v. 63 no. 3). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from April 1939 (v. 21 no. 4). (More details) It changed its name to JAMA Opthalmology in 2013, and continues to publish today under that name.
