Asia was an American magazine promoting commerce, travel, and cultural exchange between the US and Asia. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

The predecessor to this magazine, Journal of the American Asiatic Association, begain in 1898. (Issues under that name are listed separately.) It was renamed Asia under new ownership in 1917, and continued that publication's volume numbering (and also keeping "Journal of the American Asiatic Association" as a subtitle for a short time thereafter). No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from December 1931. (More details) The magazaine was renamed Asia and the Americas in 1942; that version of the magazine ceased publication at the end of 1946.
