In 1865, those papers were consolidated into Baton Rouge Tri-Weekly Gazette and Comet. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. . By the 1870s, Baton Rouge Tri-Weekly Gazette and Comet was being published as the Tri-Weekly Gazette-Comet. It appears to have gone out of business around 1873.
