The Bridgeport Times and Evening Farmer was a daily newspaper published in Bridgeport, Connecticut in the early 20th century. Its exact title varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The Bridgeport Times and Evening Farmer began publishing under that title in 1918, succeeding the Bridgeport Evening Farmer. In 1924, the title shortened to the Bridgeport Times, but then lengthened again to the Bridgeport Times, Bridgeport Evening Farmer in February 1925 and shortened to Bridgeport Times, Evening Farmer in August. In 1926 it merged with the weekly Bridgeport Star to form the Bridgeport Times, the Bridgeport Star, which was simplified to the Times-Star in 1927.
