Bulletin International des Sociétés de la Croix-Rouge

Bulletin International des Sociétés de la Croix-Rouge was a French-language publication of the organization now known in English as the International Committee of the Red Cross (or ICRC). Its full title varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The Red Cross was founded in 1863, and the first issue of its Bulletin International was published in 1869. The full title Bulletin International des Sociétés de la Croix-Rouge was used from 1886 onward. The Bulletin ran under that title until 1918. The next year it was replaced by the Revue Internationale de la Croix-Rouge (which eventually adopted the English title International Review of the Red Cross).
