Publication History

Communications of the ACM began in 1958 as the Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is January 1959 (v. 2 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) Communications of the ACM was made completely open access in 2024. It is still published today.
