The California Historical Society Quarterly was the original name of a historical journal published by the California Historical Society.

Publication History

The California Historical Society Quarterly began in 1922. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is March 1950 (v. 29 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It was renamed the California Historical Quarterly in 1971, and California History in 1978, the name under which is is published today.
