The Gazette is the current name of a daily newspaper based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Gazette began in 1883 as the Evening Gazette. It has also been published as the Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette, the Evening Gazette and Republican, and the Cedar Rapids Gazette, before adopting the unadorned "Gazette" title in 1979.
