The Coin Collector's Journal

The Coin Collector's Journal was a numismatic magazine published in New York by the Scott Stamp and Coin Company.

Publication History

The Coin Collector's Journal began in 1875. Its first series ran until 1888, publishing 13 volumes. The journal was revived with a new series in 1934. Issues from 1952 onward were typically single monographs, each published with a distinct title. Regular publication ended in 1954, but two supplement issues were published in 1958. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is April 1939 (v. 6 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details)
